Based in NYC,
Jillian designs art which provokes awareness and thought through unconventional means. Recent commissioned projects have included: chocolate bonbons, LED lights and typewriter parts.
Her work has been exhibited as fine art as well as featured on performers including musicians and dancers.
Educated in NYC and Paris, her fine art has been exhibited and published internationally. Currently, ‘Don’t Fret’ project is featured in a book and exhibit Hopes, Dreams and Hard Times (2010/11, and 'TARGET:PEACE!' Has been featured in the mobile group show No Comment in support of the Occupy Wall Street protesters (Chelsea Museum, New York).
In addition, original dance costumes have been featured at the Smithsonian Institute in 2010 in conjunction with Peggy Choy Dance, AND look out for upcoming collaboration with a wonderful musician FIREHORSE! AND Jillian wearing her original hats on 8 episodes of Lifetime's 24 Hour Catwalk (January 10, 10pm).
